Most weeks April through October she is either monitoring
the waters of the west coast of Scotland for whales, dolphins, and
porpoises, or serving as a floating classroom for one of the many Argyll
island primary and secondary schools.

This week is a special week for HWDT and Earthwatch, we have five primary school teachers on board who are here to learn all about the marine environment of the west coast and the work of HWDT. The week combines the usual HWDT survey work with practical sessions in the evenings, where the teachers are developing a teaching resource based on their learning experience on 'Silurian'.
