Cetacean Research and Education

Marine Life Monitoring; Copyright John Cunningham; skylinephoto@hotmail.comHWDT runs and coordinates an extensive cetacean research and education program through the South western islands and waters of the Hebrides. This includes monitoring the waters - and visiting the schools - of the islands of Mull, Coll, Tiree, Islay, Colonsay, Gigha, Jura and the seaboard areas of Argyll, Ardnamurchan and the Mull of Kintyre.

The program focuses on cetaceans but also includes basking sharks, otters and seals. The education program covers all aspects of the marine environment.
