Report a Sighting

Whenever you are out and are lucky enough to encounter a cetacean (the collective name given to whales, dolphins and porpoises) or other interesting marine species such as basking sharks, please report your sightings. Every sighting we receive provides us with important information about the distribution of different species.

You can report your sightings on-line by clicking here. Remember that any information you can provide will be useful, please refer to our identification tips page which contains description of different species of cetacean and how to recognize them at sea.
