Dolphins
have belly buttons! This is because
they are mammals just like
humans
(and all cetaceans.) They started their lives inside their mother's
stomach
being fed through an umbilical cord. Once born the mother twists
and
turns in the water to break the cord and let her baby swim free.
The
babies
end of the umbilical cord becomes its belly
button - just like yours!
