©Sea Life Surveys                                                                                                                                                      We are the only organisation dedicated to both education and conservation research of whales and dolphins in Scotland.
  • You will actually get to see your donations at work first hand: visit the education centre, see the research projects being conducted in your local community and watch one of our educational shows.
  • We are not a sensationalist organisation – all our education programmes and campaigns are based on real scientific facts.
  • All our projects are designed to be of benefit to both the marine wildlife of the Hebrides and also the rural Hebridean communities. We recognise that people’s livelihoods are also as important as conserving wildlife. The Hebrides is the most important habitat for whales, dolphins, and porpoises in the British Isles, in fact over 75% of Britain’s whales and dolphins live in this area. The Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust is the only organisation solely dedicated to conserving these animals.
