Northern Bottlenose whales

Northern bottlenose whales have large bulbous foreheads and a tube-like beak, which is more pronounced in older males. Juveniles are quite dark with greyish white undersides but they become paler as they age becoming grey and brown with a paler belly. They have distinguishable marks on their forehead which become more developed over time.
