Squat Lobster

The squat lobster looks a lot like a lobster but they are actually they are more closely related to the hermit crab (without the shell). They have no tail (“squat”) but have long arms (“lobster”), and use their abdomen to swim backwards. They are scavengers and sometimes steal food from sea anemones. They are long and skinny, orange to reddish brown with darker bits on its main body, with white areas on their tips. Their arms can grow to several times their body length.
