Media
Welcome to the media section of HWDT’s website. One of the Trust’s core aims is to raise awareness and educate a wide variety of people about cetaceans, especially those sighted around the west coast of Scotland. Therefore we place a high value on media coverage.
HWDT has experience in working with a range of media formats having featured on national television, radio and press. As a non-campaigning organisation we aim to provide a balanced view on cetacean-related matters and events. We issue press releases on a regular basis and additionally welcome requests for specific information of local or national interest.
During the 2008 survey season, HWDT welcomed STV's Five Thirty Show onboard Silurian for the day. Please click here to watch the footage captured.
For all media requests please contact Morven Summers on (01688) 302620 or info@hwdt.org
